When trying to pick the perfect hooded sweatshirt, RushOrderTees.com provides a ton of styles and options. But sometimes too many options can get overwhelming, so we’re giving you the low down on our top two hoodies. These two sweatshirts are popular with colleges, sports teams, and businesses that work outdoors. The Gildan G185 and Jerzees 996 are both 8 ounces and made from 50/50 cotton/polyester blends so it’s a little hard to choose between the two.

Gildan G185

This is our number one selling hoodie because it is comfy, affordable and it comes in 25 different colors. Customers have found it to be very soft and have told us over and over again, this hoodie doesn’t shrink. Our customers are impressed with the quality and even more impressed with the pricing. The G185 is made with air jet yarn that creates a smooth, or low-pill, surface, which makes it perfect for screen printing. A smooth surface will prevent the texture of the fabric showing through your design.

Jerzees 996

This hoodie is almost identical to the G185 as they are the same weight and the made from the same cotton/polyester blend, but there are a few differences.

One of the big differences is the amount of colors this hoodie is available in. While the G185 is offered in 25 colors, the Jerzees 996 is only offered in 19–but that’s still plenty to choose from. There’s one other difference we’ve found over the years; customers have told us the 996 runs slightly small so if you prefer a loose fit we recommend order a size larger.

Like we said, there are some subtle differences, but these are both well-made and comfy options for custom hoodies.
